Appointment as Ambassador for GMRI
It was a great honour this year to be given the role of Ambassador for the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute (GMRI), a NZ-based organisation focused on making cancer treatment less intrusive, more accessible and more affordable.
It's my role to help the team raise funding and connections for our Phase II clinical trial for glioblastoma treatment, and the journey beyond. It needs several million dollars, and while we're well on our way, we still have a long journey ahead! If you're interested in supporting in some way, I'd love to talk.
Here's our founder Swee Tan on the work so far, and the mission ahead, for more affordable cancer treatment.
