Daffodil Day
The NZ Cancer Society's Daffodil day is this Friday August 28.
I've been very impressed by the people at the Cancer Society, and the services they offer to cancer patients. They provide me and other patients with very helpful info sheets and booklets, eating guides, free books (cancer people are info-hungry people) and support services like free transport and parking, counselling and more.
What's also impressive is the way it is all integrated into the experience at the hospital. Staff keenly advocate the info and services and really promote the use of the organisation. So you you know it's good.
It's a worthy cause - don some yellow!
