Holiday snaps

My blog is back from its extended summer holiday.  It started out as simply having a cup of tea, then made itself comfortable, and ultimately found it difficult to get back up.  But it's back now.

What have I been up to?  Here are a few holiday snaps:

Returning to championship winning ways with my touch team, the Frosty Boys - often licked, never beaten...

Beach wedding at Nelson (brother Duncan, and new wife Leah pictured below).  Will you marry me, he said - go fly a kite, she replied...

MC'ing the wedding reception.  Therapy had helped my voice, but the jokes were beyond help...

Catching up with Wade, Helen and 9 month old Isabella, in Rotorua.  Isabella tackled her lamb & pumpkin puree with a lot more style & grace than I used to muster... mmm, puree....

For my next adventure, I'll be joining the Outward Bound team to run in the Cancer Society's 'Relay for Life' charity event, in Wellington on March 27.

I remember running it a couple of years ago - a lot of fun, and a lot of blisters!  This time around, I owe the Cancer Society a lot, so hopefully I can clock up a few miles.  If you'd like to sponsor me, here's the link to donate.   All donations much appreciated!
