There are always a few good laughs and smiles whenever I catch up with Jamie, but this time felt particularly good. I'll still have regular checks from now on (next checkup will be at Head & Neck clinic in February) but it's good to be able to look back and know the treatment in the last 5 months has gone well.
The healing since my peg removal also has gone well. The first few days felt strange. I have lost a tube but gained a bellybutton...
It's been a big week so far. The last 5 months have been quite a hike and deserve a decent summary write-up. I'll leave that for next week. A quiet celebration is in order.
